Dynacare is looking for a Courier to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reporting to the Operation Manager, the courier is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of medical samples, reports and supplies between the main laboratory, client offices, specimen collection centers, hospitals, and other laboratories. Dynacare is currently searching for an Auxiliary Nurse ("Float") to join our Laboratory and Health Services department in Montreal. This is a casual, float role. Dynacare is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Transportation department in  Ottawa, ON. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.      Responsibilities:  - Communicate with external clients and monitor customer service issues; ensure mutual resolution and escalate as required, while establishing and maintaining an atmosphere of knowledge and trust. - Maintain excellent relationships with all couriers and warehouse employees, providing clear and concise information and direction.Create memorandums and/or other communication tools as required - Proactively evaluate potential problems on the job and initiate action to limit negative outcomes. - Responsible for monitoring vehicle maintenance and ensuring inspections are completed on a daily basis. - Establish a rotation of vehicles so that the annual mileage is spread equally across the fleet. - Assist in annual vehicle allotment based on fleet worthiness. - Maintenance of the courier routes and ensures the proper information is disseminated among the departments. - Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, and/or other documents to monitor and track courier performance and summarize client and study-specific courier invoices. - Perform Quality Assessments for completeness and compliance with appropriate regulations and to ensure accuracy of documentation. - Establish documentation procedures for courier performance metrics and issues resolution.  - Assist in the scheduling of vacation and training while ensuring that all resources are in place to meet the daily demands. - Assist in the preparation and execution of annual training plans for health and safety, defensive driving, TDG, WHIMIS and all other mandatory training; including training new team members as required. - Assist in reviewing existing SOPs and provide input on possible process improvements - Reporting of hazards and work in compliance with established safe working practices - Act as the lead TDG expert and trainer for both the Transportation and Warehouse departments and ensure courier compliance with TDG regulations. - Perform all duties in accordance with established company policy and procedures - Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior (Manager, Logistics Quebec)   Must have: - Post-secondary education. - A minimum of 5-8 years related experience, including driving experience and a valid Quebec driver’s license and a clean driver’s record. - Ability to develop strong relationships with couriers, clients and employees from all other  - departments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  - Computer skills: Google Maps, Outlook, Word, Excel,   Nice to have: - TDG and WHIMIS training - Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.  - Must be professional, mature, compassionate and have an excellent attendance record - Respectful of others and the ability to communicate and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team - High Capacity for accuracy and detail-oriented work. - Demonstrated resourcefulness and creativity. - Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments and multi-task to transition between changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while continuing to meet multiple deadlines.     DNA of an Ideal Dynacare Employee   I make a difference in people’s lives.
