    Dynacare is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in for North York, ON. This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday from 10 am – 6 pm

    The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for performing quality assurance review for paramedical and medical evidence, data entry and applicable follow-up and documentation for the quality assurance program.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in the quality assurance review process for paramedical and medical evidence
    • Receive, open, sort, and scan incoming documentation
    • Follow-up on missing information in orders and other investigatory activities
    • Ensure accuracy of information and reports, and contact Health Professionals for missing information
    • Process reports and prepare corrections / amendments for insurance companies / applicants
    • Monitor quality procedures and implement quality improvement measures that lead to improved efficiencies
    • Resolve problems with applicant’s medical evidence, service complaints and other issues
    • Data entry as required
    • Escalate issues to manager
    • Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor

    SKILLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Knowledge

    • Completion of High School diploma
    • 1 to 2 years’ medical office experience or a related field (including the insurance industry)
    • Medical terminology courses or similar experience / knowledge

    Technical Skills

    • Strong keyboarding skills, minimum 40 wpm; scanners; MS Outlook, working knowledge of excel

    Social Process Skills

    • Strong oral and written communication reading comprehension
    • Detail oriented
    • Professional demeanor and mature approach to customer service
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and work independently and with the team
