    Dynacare is looking for a Senior Buyer to join our team in Brampton, ONThis is a full-time roleworking Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. 



    Assist the Manager, Strategic Procurement in the overall implementation and management of ‘best practice’ processes as they relate to Supply Chain. Responsible for sourcing, the full cycle RFP process from RFP document development to post award implementation, contract negotiation and vendor management with the objective of process improvements and overall cost savings. Maintain all required documentation both manual and on computerized inventory management system including purchase order-processing. Develop and implement plans to achieve expectations in line with departmental and corporate objectives. 



    • Carry out strategic procurement process with quantifiable achievements.

    • Accountable for procurement projects and/or serve as the procurement lead on high profile corporate initiatives with aggressive timelines.

    • Lead complex national and regional RFP processes with multimillion dollar values independently; source, negotiate with vendors and procure supplies and services for internal and external clients with the objective of achieving cost savings, vendor consolidation and product standardization.

    • Proven ability to develop RFP documents, manage internal and external communications, prepare financial analysis of vendor proposals, make corresponding recommendations, work collaboratively with stakeholders to shortlist proposals, negotiate prices as well as Terms & Condition and develop agreements corresponding to negotiated outcome during the RFP process.

    • Contract management to ensure compliance by all parties involved.

    • Frequent contact with managerial staff to interpret and communicate purchasing/supply management policies and procedures.

    • Responsible to preserve and safeguard all confidential information that comes into their knowledge during the course of employment.

    • Accountable for maintenance of regulatory requirements and continuous improvements to data systems to meet both internal/external stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.

    • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in engineering or business. 

    • 3 to 5 years of strategic procurement experience. 

    • MBA or equivalent experience will be an asset.

    • Supply Chain designation will be an asset.

    • French Language proficiency will be an asset.

    • Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset 

    • Working knowledge of ERP systems, Great Plains experience would be an asset.

    Technical Skills

    • Full proficiency with MS Office

    • Solid understanding of project management principles, techniques and tools developed through extensive project management experience.

    • Proven track record of successful execution of the RFP process from inception to implementation with quantifiable achievements and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
