    Dynacare is currently searching for a Certifying Technician to join our Forensic Toxicology team in London, Ontario. This is a 13 months contract position, working Monday to Saturday with various shifts. 



    • Reviewing and certifying emit screening data and validity testing
    • Ensuring accuracy of all documentation, information and data such as reports and custody and control forms
    • Resolving discrepancies, such as bar-code errors, transcription errors, etc.
    • Reviewing and verifying quality control for internal and external chain of custody completeness
    • Reviewing and approving test results
    • Ensuring maintenance of inventory records and logbooks for routine equipment maintenance
    • Ensuring that Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures adhere to department policies and procedures


    Must have: 

    • 4 Year Undergraduate Degree and/or Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry or related area of study
    • CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing preferred
    • Experience working in a laboratory that required correctly identifying samples and ensuring specimen testing requirements were completed
    • Ability to identify, observe and report all malfunctions with clinical instruments


    Nice to have: 

    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a team-oriented, high volume, time-sensitive environment
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in English
