Job Description

Dynacare is currently searching for a Customer Care Agent to join our team in Richmond, BC. This is a full time position working Monday - Friday from 8.00am to 5:00pm.  



Under the responsibility of the immediate superior, the Customer Care Agent is called upon to complete the following tasks:

Customer service 

  • Provide proper follow up to patients following strict requirements
  • Provide national appointments and/or refer patients for our services to Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centers, third parties & Mobile Services.
  • Handle physicians and patients communications to ensure requisitions are properly filed for all testing, including special projects
  • Ensure national distribution of our sample collection kits


  • Reception and handling of samples
  • Verify documents and communicate anomalies
  • Investigate shipping issues, delays and provide detailed reports upon request

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance to Quality Management Standards (QMS)

Any other tasks as established by superior




  • Secondary School Graduate
  • 1-2 years customer service experience
  • Proven excellent customer service and organization skills

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of CISCO Call Center platforms an asset.

  • Ability to conduct one’s self professionally at all times, with clients, colleagues and superiors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve problems in a constructive manner
  • Organized, demonstrate ability to manage priorities and the ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Capability to work independently
  • Demonstrate ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly, team player, autonomous.
  • Bilingual is an asset (French – spoken; English – spoken and written).
