As we grow our business, we’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for IT, G&A, TOPMO, & Finance monthly departmental reporting & analysis.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures including booking accruals for indirect departments.
  • Prepare and book month end benefit expense entry.
  • Prepare Financial Reporting package for parent company on a monthly basis including analysis of variances.
  • Prepare monthly Payroll reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly Accrued Liabilities reconciliations including analysis of provisions.
  • Prepare monthly bookkeeping for subsidiaries of parent company
  • Act as the Information Systems Finance Support ongoing throughout the year and during budgeting process.
  • Review month end analytics packages submitted by Financial Analysts. Identify strengths and weaknesses and give guidance/refreshed to analyst on proper & sufficient explanations to further improve packages submitted to Corporate Controller and CFO for monthly financial review meetings.
  • Prepare working papers for Dynacare subsidiaries for tax returns and act as main liaison for tax statement preparers.
  • Prepare all LabCorp Canadian owned companies’ financial statements for year-end tax returns.
  • Audit support and working paper preparation for internal and external audits
  • Ensure Manager is informed of important accounting information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide analysis/projections for depreciation, minority interest, bank charges, interest income and benefit expense for budget.
  • Prepare all quarterly and annual Statistics Canada reporting and filings
  • Prepare indirect tax filings for subsidiaries of parent company
  • Provide finance support to internal functions and operations teams as needed.
  • Support and complete ad-hoc financial reporting requests and project.




  • Completion of CPA designation is required
  • Minimum of 3-4 years accounting experience either through a big-4 professional services firm or industry is preferred
  • Financial Statement preparation experience in accordance with ASPE, Canadian & US GAAP is required
  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset
  • Strong excel skills to update and enhance current company processes and month end close procedures/reports
  • Collaboration within Finance and other stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team centred environment
