As we grow and diversify our business, we’re looking for an experienced Electrocardiogram/Holter Technologist for our Cardiology department to join our team. This is a contract role based out of Clinics in GTA. If you strive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment, this opportunity may be for you! 

 

Reporting to the Technical Director, Medical Director and Director of Operations, this position requires performing application of Holters, Event recorders, Ambulatory BP monitors and holter scanning.

 

Education and Experience

  • Cardiovascular Technician diploma (or equivalent) with active registration and membership in good standing with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Holter Lab using prospective scanning techniques. Working knowledge of EDAN and NORTH-EAST Holter Software.
  • Demonstrated advanced ECG interpretation skills.

 

Experience

  • 1 year experience as an Electrocardiogram and Holter scanning technologist.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively relate to client/patient population and possess exceptional bed side manners.
  • Experienced in using holter scanning software and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal), organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to accept assigned or delegated functions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and improving individual competence.
  • Ability to travel to clinics on scheduled days.
